It is with great enthusiasm that we are able to bring once again, the  “Diwali Stony Brook Cultural Program” in the Wang Center on Saturday October, 29, 2011. Diwali Stony Brook is being organized for the fourth year in a row. The event is attended by a very large local community, and this event includes entertainment, networking and food. Diwali Stony Brook has sold out in the past 3 years and this year  will be no exception.

What started as a small gathering 3 years ago, now has blossomed into an event everyone is eagerly waiting for. This function apart from celebrating our children’s talent, will also give us a venue to celebrate our culture and heritage and socially network, at least for a day in our busy lives.

This year, plans are being made to accommodate up to 20 performances in our cultural program and we will have snacks in the afternoon and dinner after the program. The organizing committee appreciates your support in terms of purchasing the tickets in a timely manner to help us plan for all the expenses that will be incurred for the event.

However, we are seeing a rise in the prices of every commodity, and it is becoming a daunting task to cover all the expenses (awards, audio/video, certificates, snacks, dinner, etc.) that are going to be incurred for the program. Hence we sincerely request you to be a sponsor for this program. No amount is too small. Your contribution will help in making this program a grand success. Please join hands with the organizing committee to promote our culture and heritage and encourage our children to showcase their talents in this event. All sponsors will be recognized (anonymous/recognized - your choice) on the website www.diwalistonybrook.com

Thanks for all the support. If any more information is required, do not hesitate to contact us.
